Our extensive experience in consolidating structures is now being increasingly put to use in the rescue and conservation of industrial monuments. We have undertaken works as diverse as lime kilns to lead mines to mills. While gathering this experience we have become adept at close working with archaeologists and have assisted in their work as much as they have helped us.
"They [HPR] recognise, and allow for, the necessary archaeological recording to take place during consolidation work and the disruptions that this may cause to their planned programme of work comes as no surprise to them. This awareness means that their workforce is able to be pro-active in informing the archaeologist of any possible instances when recording may be necessary."
